The Procedure

CONTACT US ONCE YOU RECEIVE YOUR PARCEL

YOU’LL NEED A MODERN SMARTPHONE AND STRONG PHONE SIGNAL

PREFERABLY CONNECT A BATTERY CHARGER

• You’ll receive a Special OBDII Tool to Plug into your Diesel Vehicles OBDII Plug. This allows us to communicate with, and test, your vehicle's ECU over its Diagnostic Port.
• A Link to Download the Licensed Phone App.
• At the ‘minimum’ you will need strong phone reception and a modern smartphone.
• The Phone App opens with Step by Step Easy to Follow Instructions.
• Once you have established a Wi-Fi Hotspot on your smartphone, the App will allow either Trent or Baden to talk to your vehicle via the OBD Device.
• Again it’s quite an Easy Step by Step process so relax! We’re here to help!
• Once we have a connection to your vehicle, we will Scan, Test and Read your Engines ECU and will be notified, at our Berrima workshop, of the results… ‘Live’.
• The Diesel Family will then Craft a Custom Tuning Strategy that aligns with your vehicle's specific characteristics and your driving needs. For example; a Wider Torque Range and Better Economy.
• Once we are done making the Tuning, you are notified the next time you open the Phone App that the ‘Berrima Diesel Tune’ is Ready to Go!
• You then follow the Simple Steps to Load the Berrima Tune onto your vehicle.
• Once Completed you can disconnect the OBDII Device and Phone App.
• If for some reason you need to, you can easily reverse this process and reinstall your ‘Standard vehicles’ Files via the Phone App.
• It’s also a handy Fault Scan Tool for scanning/resetting faults with your vehicle.
